But first wanted to say what fun we had at the House today. We were sold on the illos from the program. Mr C made us watch the video many times over.


The round trip was his dream day: a ferry ride, Harbour Bridge spotting, two train rides and a bus journey. With raisin toast inbetween.

It didn't happen for various reasons, but she's always had a clear idea about what would be featured. 


Like clothes from Petit Batik.


They are the work of Libby Knott, the talented partner of interior designer Tim Leveson.

Almost four years ago Natalie Walton started a design blog, Daily Imprint.

One year later she had a son, C.

A year after that she started a site called Frontliners with photographer Kata Varga, showcasing creative types at home with their family. 

At the end of 2010 she launched a family business, taiKa.

It embodies all that her family is passionate about - simple but stylish aesthetics, using only what you need in the world, products that don't cost the earth, and thoughtfulness in all aspects of your life.

That is what this blog is about too.
