kids at the house

Have had some lovely press recently on taiKa, which will share shortly.

But first wanted to say what fun we had at the House today. We were sold on the illos from the program. Mr C made us watch the video many times over.

The round trip was his dream day: a ferry ride, Harbour Bridge spotting, two train rides and a bus journey. With raisin toast inbetween.

dream home?

Looking for a bassinet at the moment.

Also planning a renovation.

The home of Katrin Arens pretty much sums up everything we want for both these projects.

Paler shade of grey

Natalie has just interviewed Ursula van Schoonhoven for Daily Imprint.

Her business House of Orange, based in Melbourne, has much in common with taiKa - from an aesthetic to an inspiration point of view.

Ursula recommended the blog Busy Being Fabulous - where we found this image (via Anabundance).

harold david's weekender

images harold david (via inside out; styling lisa cooper)

The Blue Mountains holiday home of photographer Harold David.

As featured in the latest Inside Out.

It has soul. Dusty blue walls. Timber.

It is considered but not pretentious.

paper height chart

Height charts are fun.

We made our own.

Kraft paper. A ruler. Pencil. Black texta. Stamp kit. Tape.

The taiKa bike is an early prototype. Still going strong.

Breaking all the rules - maybe.

Making a few of its own - certainly.

Proudly Australian.

Meet the editor, Beck.
